CDL Driver - Feeder Pig

Prestage Farms is seeking a Swine Feeder Pig CDL Driver to safely and efficiently load and deliver pigs to various sites. This is a full-time daytime position which consists of Monday through Friday and occasional weekends. This is a local position that allows you to be home every night. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs
• Ability to work primarily independently and with others
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (scheduling changes, weather conditions etc.)
• Applicants should be very nimble and able to load and unload pigs
• Ability to accurately count pigs and do basic math
• Ability to read and follow weekly schedules

Requirements:
• Minimum of Trucking School Certificate and at least six (6) months of driving experience prefer.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations

ADA REQUIREMENTS: Ability to walk, stoop, bend, climb, repetitive motions, see and distinguish colors, and hear
