CDL Class A Driver (Event Season Contract)

At J&P Cycles, we don’t just sell parts; we fuel the passion of the powersports community. Our Events Team is the heartbeat of that mission, traveling to the most iconic rallies in the country to support riders where they live and breathe.

We are looking for a high-performing Contract (1099) CDL Truck Driver to join the J&P Cycles Events crew. This isn't your typical "dock-to-dock" hauling gig. You’ll be the custodian of our high-value mobile showroom and, ideally, a key player in our event operations.

Our Next Event Driver Will: 

You’ll be responsible for navigating our rig across the country, ensuring our high-value cargo arrives safely and on time. From the sands of Daytona to the Black Hills of Sturgis, you are the backbone of our road presence.

Bonus Points If You:

Can drive the rig and pick up a wrench. If you have mechanical experience and can help the team service bikes during the heat of a rally, you’re the MVP we’re looking for. Please note: while we will be prioritizing all-in-one team members, we may have flexibility in considering drivers who will only be hauling, so don't let this stop you from applying.

Location & Logistics

• The Rig: Based in Daytona/Ormond Beach, FL.
• Home Base: Ideally, you are local to the Daytona area.
• Note: If you are a driver who can wrench on bikes, we have more flexibility on your home base.

Our Next Driver Has:

• The Credentials: Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• The Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience hauling high-value, sensitive, or high-touch cargo (e.g., equine, haz-mat, or custom vehicles).
• The Grit: Ability to handle the physical demands of load-in and load-out at major rallies.
• The Skill (Preferred): Mechanical aptitude. No formal certification is required, but if you know your way around a bike, we want to hear about it.

The 2026 Tour Schedule:

This is a seasonal contract running from February through November. You must be available for the duration of the events, including transit and setup days:

• Thunder Beach Rally (FL): April 27 – May 3
• Myrtle Beach Bikeweek (SC): May 4 – May 18
• Americade (NY): May 25 – June 1
• Laconia Bike Week (NH): June 10 – June 22
• Sturgis Bike Week (SD): August 1 – August 16
• Delmarva Bikeweek (MD): September 7 – September 14
• Myrtle Beach Fall Bikeweek (SC): September 26 – October 5
• Lone Star Rally (TX): November 3 – November 9
