Job Title: CDL-A Driver Trainer

Location: Savannah, GA Employment

Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Driver Trainer to mentor and develop new and current drivers. This role is responsible for ensuring safe driving practices, compliance with DOT regulations, and successful onboarding of trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

Train and mentor new CDL-A drivers in safe driving techniques

Conduct road and classroom training sessions

Evaluate driver performance and provide feedback

Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company policies

Demonstrate proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Maintain accurate training records and reports

Promote a culture of safety and professionalism

Qualifications:

Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record

3–5+ years of over-the-road (OTR) experience

Prior training or mentorship experience preferred

Strong communication and leadership skills

Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
