Taager is the first B2B startup focused on social sellers and merchants. We are democratizing the social e-commerce space by enabling both budding and experienced entrepreneurs to sell online with no required capital, inventory, or operational experience. We support our merchants through merchandising, warehousing, shipping, cash collection, and customer service.
Founded in 2019 as a team of 8 people, we have now grown to more than 350 employees across Egypt, KSA, and the UAE. What will you do:
Product Sourcing & Category Growth
Identify, evaluate, and introduce high-potential and trending products to Taager’s portfolio within the assigned commercial categories to drive growth and market competitiveness.
Pricing Strategy & Profitability Management
Develop and manage SKU pricing strategies by analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, margins, and customer demand to ensure optimal profitability and conversion performance.
Performance Analysis
Monitor and analyze key category performance metrics including orders, conversion rates, sold units, GMV, winning SKUs, inventory DOH, and demand forecasting to ensure efficient category management and business growth.
Supplier & Vendor Collaboration
Partner closely with the Vendor Management team to source reliable suppliers, negotiate product availability, and ensure healthy inventory levels across commercial categories.
Merchant Needs & Product Planning
Collaborate with the Account Management team to understand merchants’ product requirements and ensure timely planning, sourcing, and fulfillment of requested products.
Product Launch & SLA Management
Own and manage the SLA process for uploading and launching new products on the platform while ensuring accuracy, speed, and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work collaboratively with Product Management, Creative, Sales, and other internal teams to ensure updated and engaging product content is effectively shared across e-commerce channels.
Market Research & Consumer Insights
Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to understand regional customer preferences, shopping behaviors, pricing expectations, and product demand across basic, commercial, and trend-driven categories.
Customer Persona & Demand Planning
Analyze different customer personas and purchasing patterns to support strategic planning, product allocation, and category optimization in alignment with market demand.
What Will Make You Successful
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the e-commerce field.
Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-commerce platforms or marketplace operations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
