We are looking for you as a Category Purchaser - Forging (m/f/diverse) to support our area Safety and Motion at the location Frankfurt/Headquarter.

• Contributing to the design and end-to-end implementation of global category strategies
• Leading complex sourcing projects—from initial supplier selection and sourcing concept definition to high-stakes price negotiations and final contract execution
• Conducting annual price negotiations and maintaining a continuous benchmarking cycle to ensure market leadership
• Identifying new market players (Supplier Scouting) and driving supplier development programs to secure long-term competitive advantages
• Proactively identifying and executing cost-reduction initiatives without compromising on quality or resilience
• Acting as the ultimate point of contact and "highest instance" for all critical supplier-related escalations

• Academic degree in Business Administrations, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience in strategic procurement/category management, within a complex corporate environmen, preferably in the automotive industry
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
• Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken)
• Analytical, data-driven mindset with proven problem-solving skills
• Ability to clearly present complex topics to TOP management
• High quality standards, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
