The Category Manager plays a central role in shaping category growth, shopper engagement, build brand visibility and commercial alignment, strengthen our market position and commercial performance. You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that strengthen our market position, unlock customer opportunities, and drive sustainable business results in Distributor markets. Through data‑driven insights, strategic planning, and close collaboration with internal and external partners, you will influence decisions that directly impact revenue, profitability, and brand visibility.
Reporting directly to the Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll work hand‑in‑hand with cross‑functional partners across Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain and in close collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure seamless execution and strong in‑market performance. You’ll be the driving force behind brand consistency, competitiveness, and long-term equity building.

Key responsibilities include:
Brand Strategy & Growth
• Build and implement promo strategies including assortment, pricing, shelving, and promotional frameworks.
• Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer performance to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Lead in-store plans for new product development and go-to-market plans, ensuring timely and impactful launches & in-store execution plans
• Oversee portfolio performance and RGM initiatives to drive profitability and reduce complexity
• Build joint business plans and selling stories for key retailers in existing and new Distributor Markets
• Develop seasonal and thematic activations (e.g., holiday recipes, sustainability campaigns)
• Lead the development of the annual category strategy, including assortment, pricing, shelving, and promotional frameworks.
• Drive category reviews, joint business planning, and customer presentations with compelling, insight‑led storytelling & execute category plans
• Monitor KPIs such as market share, distribution, pricing, and promotional effectiveness, recommending corrective actions when needed.
Performance, Budget & Activation
• Monitor brand performance using KPIs and market data (e.g., Nielsen, Focus)
• Use data to drive decision-making and establish scorecards across functions
• Manage A&P budgets with a focus on ROI across media, digital and in-store activations
• Track marketing budgets and manage invoices related to brand activities
• Report campaign performance and assess impact against business goals
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Brand Marketing & Finance
• Cross-functional Collaboration
Consumer & Market Insights
• Analyze market data to track brand performance and category dynamics
• Monitor competitor products, pricing and promotional strategies
Project Leadership
• Lead and coordinate projects across departments with agility and ownership
• Ensure smooth execution of campaigns and innovation pipelines
