Cassandra Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years for (PC level), 3-5 years (for LC level) and 2+ year (for C Level) experience in Cassandra Big Data technologies / Mongo DB
• Design / Architected and implemented complex projects dealing with the considerable data size (GB/ PB) and with high complexity.
• Sound knowledge about the clustered deployment Architecture
• Add/Remove nodes into Cassandra cluster
• Monitoring Cassandra cluster through Opscenter
• Starting, stopping and restarting of opscenter monitoring tool, Casandra cluster and server
• Monitoring Cassandra cluster through nodetool/dsetool
• Maintaining maximum uptime for Cassandra nodes and cluster
• Taking Backup of data and restoration of backup as needed using opscenter and nodetool
• Check cqlsh, Cassandra-cli client connectivity on each server/node restart
• Start Cassandra server in different modes such as Analytics, search or normal.
• Monitor Cassandra system logs, opscenter, opscenter-agent logs for errors
