Casing Field Supervisor
Location: Mansfield, PA
Costy’s Energy Services is hiring a Casing Field Supervisor to support and lead field operations within our casing division. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role intended for someone with real casing experience who is willing to work alongside the crew and lead by example.
This position reports directly to the Casing Division Business Unit Manager and serves as the #2 in charge and right-hand leader of the division.
Role Overview
The Casing Field Supervisor is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and professional casing operations in the field. This individual must have direct knowledge and experience with the casing running process and the mechanical operation of casing equipment. This is not a hands-off role. The supervisor must be capable of performing all casing crew tasks when required.
Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the casing running process
• Operate and support casing equipment including:
CRTs (casing rotating tools)
Torque Turn systems
• Understand mechanical operation, troubleshooting, and basic repair of casing equipment
• Work directly with casing crews and perform all tasks required of crew members
• Assist the Business Unit Manager with day-to-day field leadership and operational execution
• Serve as a primary point of contact between crews, management, and customer representatives
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with:
Company employees at all levels
Customer representatives on location
• Analyze crew performance and assist with improving:
Safety
Efficiency
Job execution
• Support training, development, and accountability of crew members
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company and customer standards
Requirements & Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license required
• Proven knowledge, experience, and hands-on demonstration of casing running operations
• Experience working with CRTs (casing rotating tools) and Torque Turn equipment
• Strong mechanical understanding of casing equipment operation and repair
• Ability and willingness to perform all physical tasks associated with casing crew work
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead from the front
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to evaluate crew performance and drive continuous improvement
• Willingness to work long hours, irregular schedules, and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required by job and customer needs
Work Environment & Schedule
• Long hours and variable schedules based on operational demand
• Outdoor work in all elements including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind
• Overnight stays required at times depending on job location and customer needs
