Global Transaction Banking, a strategic pillar within BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking, provides products and solutions that enable our clients to manage payments, investments and financing activities across their global operations. Sobre el puesto

The Cash Management Sales Global Proposals Specialist is responsible for leading and coordinating complex, multi-country RFP processes for BBVA CIB inbound and cross-border clients. The role plays a key part in supporting the growth of the global cash management business by delivering high-impact, commercially competitive and strategically differentiated RFP responses that directly support business growth.

The position requires deep knowledge of global and local transaction banking products, strong commercial and pricing understanding, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across countries and business units.

The role contributes to the definition and execution of the RFP strategy and supports the centralisation and standardisation of RFP processes across geographies.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of global and multi-country RFP processes, from initial analysis through submission and follow-up, ensuring high-quality, consistent and strategically aligned responses.

• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-border teams, managing timelines, deliverables and consolidation of inputs across multiple countries and product units.

• Review and oversee RFP pricing proposals in collaboration with local GTB pricing teams, ensuring commercial competitiveness and alignment with margin guidelines.

• Conduct strategic analysis of RFP opportunities, identifying product gaps, pricing trends, risks and improvement areas to enhance win ratios.

• Lead and coordinate targeted and tailored RFP presentations and supportive materials.

• Participate in client meetings and RFP presentations when required, supporting bankers and product specialists throughout the process.

• Monitor submitted RFPs, manage client clarifications and track final outcomes, including revenue estimation, probability assessment and post-award follow-up.

• Maintain accurate RFP dashboards, pricing databases and content management platforms, preparing reports and presentations for management to support decision-making.

• Stay informed about market developments and new product capabilities to continuously strengthen proposal quality and positioning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Cash Management / Global Transaction Banking.

• Proven commercial experience working with multinational and cross-border clients.

• High level of global and local Cash Management / GTB product knowledge across multiple countries (payments, collections, liquidity management, acquiring services, treasury solutions, etc.)

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams across geographies and time zones.

• Fully bilingual English and Spanish (written and spoken).

• Advanced / expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs, Looker Studio), with the ability to independently build complex analyses and executive-ready materials.
