We are looking for a proactive and resilient Cash Collection Specialist to take ownership of our French accounts. This isn’t just about "chasing money"; it’s about managing relationships and ensuring our financial sustainability during a period of significant growth.
What You’ll Do
• Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage overdue French accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
• Proactive Communication: Contact customers via phone, email, or letters to follow up on unpaid invoices with a focus on the French market's specific business etiquette.
• Negotiation: Negotiate structured payment plans and settlements with customers when necessary.
• Case Resolution: Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes quickly.
• Insolvency & Recovery: Manage specialized cases involving judicial recovery and bankruptcies, ensuring all legal procedures are followed.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on collection status and aged debt analysis.
• Compliance: Ensure full compliance with company policies and French legal regulations regarding debt collection.
What We’re Looking For
• Language Skills: Fluency in French and a high level of English is essential.
• Experience: Proven track record in cash collection, accounts receivable, or credit control.
• Legal Expertise: Knowledge of procedures regarding judicial recovery and bankruptcies is a core requirement for this role.
• Communication: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and empathetically.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy in record-keeping and month-end closing activities.
• Reliability: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a high-volume environment.
