Carwash Shift Lead

Job Summary:

The Shift Lead will help lead our team in delivering a level of customer service and hospitality that is unmatched in and out of the carwash industry, and will help us create the best possible workplace for our on-site team. Sun Day Carwash expects all Team Members to embody Sun Day culture by leading with warmth and kindness in interactions with customers and colleagues, and contributing to creating the positive, up-beat environment our customers and Team Members can feel. The Shift Lead will help to ensure the Sun Day way is executed by all Team Members throughout the duration of their shift. We expect Team Members to greet customers with warmth, energy and enthusiasm, and to provide a level of service that exceeds expectations. We rely on our Shift Leads to ensure that Team Members set up our customers to have fun and leave the carwash feeling a sense of pride and renewal. Shift Leads will help empower our Team Members to find ways to make each customer’s day.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Demonstrate mastery of all aspects of Sun Day Hospitality Team Member role including:

Greeting customers

Operating the iPad point of sale

Explaining the differences between Sun Day’s offerings to customers

Completing daily checklists to keep our facilities clean and organized

Carwash opening  and closing procedures

Safety

Participate in coaching an all-star team to create a positive and upbeat environment our customers can feel

Train staff at varying levels of development

Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff

Attract new customers and drive membership sign-ups

Mentor under our Leadership and Operations Team

Deliver consistent, high-quality service

Oversee the implementation of new technology
