Our client is a dynamic and growing freight brokerage focused on building a strong and reliable carrier network. They are looking to add a driven and experienced Carrier Sales Representative to support and expand their operations. The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for sourcing, securing, and managing carrier capacity across the network. This role will primarily focus on driving and supporting spot freight opportunities, while contributing to the overall growth and success of the company freight network.
This is a fast-paced, relationship-driven role ideal for someone who thrives in carrier sales, enjoys negotiation, and is motivated to deliver results.
What You’ll Do
• Develop, establish, and maintain strong relationships with existing carrier partners
• Source and onboard new carriers to expand the network
• Build and grow a carrier base through consistent outbound outreach and relationship development
• Negotiate competitive rates and secure capacity for spot freight opportunities
• Collaborate closely with the Account Development team to support revenue growth
• Utilize carrier truck lists to match capacity with available freight and support network needs
• Provide exceptional service to internal teams, carriers, and shippers
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and follow carrier vetting protocols to prevent fraud and risk
