Join our Carrier Compliance Team at KCH Transportation as an intern and gain hands-on experience in compliance, risk assessment, and transportation operations - all in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
As a Carrier Compliance Intern, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our carrier partners meet company standards and regulatory requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop analytical skills, work cross-functionally, and make a real impact on day-to-day operations while building a strong foundation for a career in supply chain, compliance, or risk management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the onboarding of new carriers by reviewing submitted documentation and verifying compliance with requirements
Perform preliminary audits on carrier profiles to identify potential compliance issues and escalate as necessary
Support the review and processing of override requests based on risk criteria and business justification
Maintain accurate and up-to-date carrier records in the TMS
Collaborate with Operations and Risk Management teams to resolve compliance-related issues in a timely manner
Track and report on compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Education/Experience:

Prior office experience or familiarity with compliance, auditing, or logistics systems is a plus
