Job Description

John Mini is seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our Fabrication team in the fabrication and installation of indoor and outdoor projects.

As a Carpenter at John Mini, you will help build and install custom projects with a focus on fine carpentry, set construction, and field installation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex build conditions and working hands-on with a collaborative fabrication team.

Responsibilities

Perform fine carpentry for custom indoor and outdoor projects

Build components for set design and specialty installations

Assist with custom wood fabrication and assembly

Support indoor and outdoor project installation

Read and work from architectural and fabrication drawings

Solve complex project conditions in the shop and in the field

Work closely with the fabrication team to meet deadlines

Help other departments when project needs require it

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of carpentry or wood fabrication experience

Experience with fine carpentry and custom fabrication

Ability to read and comprehend architectural and millwork drawings

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

High school diploma or GED

Strong communication and organizational skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift 75 lbs.
