Intertek, a leading international provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) services, is looking for a Cargo Surveyor to join Caleb Brett's team (Cargo).

Caleb Brett provides cargo inspections and analytical assessments for the oil, mining, minerals, and biofuel industries. With solutions based on years of experience, innovation, and advanced analytical capabilities, we help our customers optimize cargo performance and solve difficult technical challenges.

As a Surveyor, you will be part of the inspection team and will be responsible for volume and temperature measurements, sampling, calculations, document verification, and report writing to provide the customer with an independent, accurate, and comprehensive assessment of the quantity and quality of the material.

your duties:

• Performing sampling, measurements, and inventories of tanks/ships on land.

• Communicating and coordinating with terminal, transport, and client company personnel to facilitate the proper performance of assigned tasks.
• Monitoring the availability of supplies necessary for the above processes and notifying coordinators of any needs for such supplies.
• Performing routine calibration of equipment, verification, and operational checks.
• Organizing and coordinating work so that services are delivered and reports and samples are presented correctly, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Verifying and communicating the results obtained and making the necessary recordings in the appropriate media, both paper and electronic, to ensure the validity and traceability of the information.

Requirements:
• Technical diploma (nautical, chemical, or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Cargo Surveyor in the petrochemical industry (or similar).
• Residence in Spalato(or surrounding area).
• Knowledge of English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work shifts, irregular hours, and on call.
• Valid driver's license.
