About the Role

We are looking for experienced Career Coaches to work with mid-to-senior professionals preparing for transitions into FAANG and top-tier product companies. This is a part-time role focused on high-impact coaching, masterclasses, and 1:1 guidance for learners going through Interview Kickstart (IK) programs.

This role is ideal for Engineering Managers, Senior ICs, or tech leaders who have actively participated in hiring, interviewing, and leveling decisions at top product companies.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Deliver LIVE classes on career transitions as part of Interview Kickstart programs

• Coach learners on - Resume structuring & positioning (India + global product companies), LinkedIn and professional branding, Behavioural interviews (STAR, leadership principles, levelling expectations), Interview strategy & recruiter communication and Offer evaluation and negotiation

• Conduct weekly office hours / group sessions to support learners with time-sensitive or high-stakes situations

• Guide learners on: Interview readiness and gap identification, role & level alignment, decision-making across multiple offers

• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps learners course-correct quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as - Engineering Manager, Senior IC, Tech Lead, or equivalent role

• Prior experience at FAANG or Tier-1 product companies

• Hands-on experience:Interviewing candidates, making hiring / leveling decisions and evaluating behavioral and system design interviews

• Strong understanding of: Resume shortlisting for product companies, behavioural interviews and leadership principles and offer negotiation dynamics (India + global)

• Prior experience as a mentor, coach, or interviewer (formal or informal)

• Ability to commit 10- 12 hours per week

• Availability during evenings and/or weekends (IST)

Nice to Have

• Experience conducting internal interviews or bar-raiser panels

• Experience coaching professionals transitioning across roles, levels, or geographies

• Exposure to startup + large tech hiring ecosystems
