Care Guide Reports to: Office Manager
Location: Asheville, NC
Type: Full-Time

The Care Guide exists to make sure patients never feel lost in that process. You help patients connect the dots between what they’ve heard and what they’re ready to do. You bring clarity to treatment conversations, ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and guide each patient toward a confident next step.
What You’ll Do Front Office & Patient Experience
Welcome patients with genuine hospitality
Manage calls, texts, and emails with warmth and professionalism
Schedule appointments in a way that supports both patient needs and provider flow
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Assist with payments and routine financial interactions
Help keep the front office organized, efficient, and calm
Care Guidance & Follow-Through
Support treatment conversations after provider handoffs
Help patients understand recommended care using simple, clear language
Answer questions and ensure patients feel informed and supported
Review insurance estimates and payment options with confidence and empathy
Ensure treatment plans are entered accurately and in a timely manner
Track unscheduled care and follow up consistently
Guide patients toward their next step without pressure
Ensure every patient leaves with a clear, documented plan
What We’re Looking For
Strong communicator who builds trust quickly
Comfortable discussing both care and financial details
Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-through
Positive, calm, and team-oriented
Able to balance empathy with accountability
Experience in dental or healthcare preferred
Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix, Curve, Open Dental, etc.) is a plus
