🕒 Hours: Days only
💰 Salary: £12.85/hr (review April 2026) + weekend enhancements

We are looking for caring and dedicated Care Assistants to join our teams at Downs House and Stroud House, providing high-quality elderly care in warm, supportive environments.

Downs House is a 46-bed residential care home located less than one mile from Petersfield town centre, offering a welcoming setting built on dignity, respect, and compassion.

Stroud House is a 25-bed home specialising in elderly care, including support for residents living with complex dementia. We focus on creating a calm, reassuring environment where residents’ comfort and wellbeing always come first.

If you are an experienced or motivated Care Assistant with a passion for elderly care, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference every day.

Your Role as a Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you will:

Deliver personal care and support with daily living activities

Assist with mealtimes, mobility, and social engagement

Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report any changes

Maintain accurate care records

Support colleagues to ensure safe, high-quality care

Promote dignity, independence, and person-centred care
