Night Care Assistant

Location: Dartford
Salary: £8.21ph
Hours: Part Time 18 hours per week

Gardenia House is a community based, purpose built Care Home in the heart of Dartford. It is a intimate residential home that is able to provide care and support to 25 residents.

Gardenia house provides a friendly, supportive and welcoming home from home environment with regular and varied activities, outings and events organise.

Gardenia house are now looking to recruit a Night Care Assistant for join their professionally trained team.

Our ideal Care Assistant candidate will have:

• Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community.
• An awareness and understanding of high quality home care.
• Good communication skills, patience and flexibility.
• An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support.
• A flexible working pattern and able to do shift work.
• Alternate weekend working pattern.

In return for your hard work, we offer our Care Assistants:

• Experience is desirable, however, is not essential, as we offer full training for all of our Care Staff.
• 22 days paid holiday per annum + bank holidays (pro rata) Raising to 28 days + bank holidays.
• Ongoing training and progression opportunities.
• Thorough induction and regular support from all management and staff.
• Flexible working hours.
• The option to work towards qualifications in NVQ Health & Social Care level 2&3.

Location: Dartford, Kent (Preferred)
