At London Care (Part of the CCH Group), we know that it takes a special kind of person to care for others. Every day is different—and every day gives you the chance to do meaningful, rewarding work that truly changes people’s lives. 💙
We are currently looking for compassionate Care Professionals to join our dedicated Basildon branch team. Whether you are looking for a fulfilling career change, returning to work, or simply want a role where your empathy is valued, we will give you all the support and training you need to thrive.
📍 Work Locations As this is a community-based role, you will be traveling to support clients within their local communities. We proudly provide high-quality care across Basildon and the surrounding areas, primarily covering:
• Brentwood, Billericay, Harlow, Langdon Hills, Pitsea, Havering, Redbridge, Wickford, and the surrounding communities.
🚗 Access to a vehicle and a full driving licence are required due to the geographical nature of the role.
💷 Competitive Pay & Travel Support We know that traveling between clients is a core part of community care, so we make sure you are fully supported and compensated for your time on the road!
• 💰 Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
• ⏱️ Paid Travel Time: You are paid for your travel time between visits (Travel Time Top-Up included!)
• ⛽ Mileage Allowance: 28p per mile
⏰ Shift Patterns Designed for Real Life We know how important work-life balance is. Whether you need shifts that work around family life, or you are looking for full-time consistency, we offer flexible patterns to suit your lifestyle (full-time, part-time, weekdays, and weekends available):
• Day Shifts: 7:00/8:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM
• Evening Shifts: 3:00/4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
💙 What You’ll Be Doing As a Care Professional, you’ll help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. You’ll follow personalised care plans designed to promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence. Your responsibilities will include:
• 💧 Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, incontinence support)
• 💊 Medication support
• 🍲 Meal preparation and assistance
• 🛒 Shopping and practical daily tasks
• 🧹 Light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, tidying)

🦸 What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape!) You don’t need care experience — just the passion to help others. Full, paid training is provided, along with ongoing support to help you grow. We’re looking for:
• ✅ Genuine compassion and respect for others
• ✅ Reliability and a caring nature
• ✅ Willingness to learn new skills
• ✅ Good communication and teamwork
• ✅ The right to work in the UK (Please note: As an employer, we are unfortunately unable to offer Visa sponsorship).
