Pay: $29.56 – $44.34/hr (heavily based on years of experience)

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Overview

Join a 230+ bed acute care hospital serving the Panama City area with advanced cardiovascular, interventional, and stroke services. The Cath/IR team supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment backed by the area’s only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI & Resuscitation, Level III NICU, and dedicated adult/pediatric emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms; verify equipment readiness and radiation safety standards.

• Scrub/monitor/circulate for diagnostic & interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, image acquisition, and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.

• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and post-procedure care per protocol.

• Maintain sterile technique; manage supplies/inventory and room turnover efficiently.

• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and anesthesia to ensure patient-centered, efficient care.

• Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives for the lab.

Required

• 1+ year recent experience in Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab.

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.

• Associate degree (or equivalent) in Radiologic Technology.

• ARRT (R) or RCIS credential.

• BLS at hire; ACLS within 60 days of start.

Preferred

• Additional Cath/EP cross-training; strong hemodynamics and interventional device familiarity.

• Experience with complex coronary/peripheral interventions and contrast reactions.
