Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN

Schedule:

• Days (Rotating Weekends)

• Nights (Rotating Weekends, +$4.25/hr Differential)

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay: $29.00 – $43.00/hr (based on experience)

• Shift Differentials: Nights +$4.25/hr, Weekends +$3/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

• 401(k) Match: 100% on 3–9% of pay

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role specializes in monitoring cardiac patients, managing complex conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and individualized care.

Important Notes:

• Candidates must live within a commutable distance (under 60 minutes).

• Must be comfortable with a 5:1 or 6:1 patient ratio during the day and a 6:1 ratio at night.

• In-person interview required (includes shadowing, facility tour, and administrative interview).

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients for changes in condition.

• Provide care for post-surgical and critically ill patients in a med-surg setting.

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge care.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.

• Minimum 1+ years of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).

• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact eligibility.

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

• Candidates with 3+ years of RN experience and a compact license must apply for a Florida RN license.
