Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

• Hourly Rate: $27.72 – $39.60 (based on experience)

• Specialty Differential: +$2.50/hour

• Night Shift Differential: +$3.00/hour

• Weekend Differential: +$2.00/hour

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (Night Shift Only; case-by-case basis)

Schedule:

• Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends

We are seeking a Cardiac Surgery ICU Registered Nurse (CSICU RN) to join our highly skilled critical care team. In this role, you will provide direct care to post-operative cardiac patients in an intensive care environment. This is a night shift position with rotating weekends.

As part of our cardiovascular team, you will utilize your acute care knowledge to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, including open-heart procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced critical care to post-op cardiac surgery patients

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement care plans

• Work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Educate and support patients and families on treatment and recovery

• Maintain high standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and care quality

• Engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice

Required:

• Current Florida RN License or Compact RN License (with FL eligibility)

• At least 1 year of Acute Care RN experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire

• NIHSS Stroke Certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred:

• ICU experience strongly preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• CCRN Certification (or ability to obtain within 2 years)
