Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Hourly Rate (Based on Experience):

• $27.72 – $39.60/hour

Differentials:

• Specialty Differential: +$2.50/hour

• Night Shift: +$3/hour

• Weekend Shift: +$2/hour

Bonuses:

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (Night Shift Only, Case-by-Case)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU). This role is ideal for someone with strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and a commitment to providing exceptional care to critically ill patients recovering from cardiac surgeries. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering life-saving interventions in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver critical care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments and monitor patient progress

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Educate patients and families regarding post-op care, medications, and treatments

• Uphold patient rights, privacy, and dignity

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes

• Contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practices

Experience:

• 1+ years of acute care RN experience required

• ICU experience preferred but not mandatory

Licensing & Certifications:

• Active Florida RN License

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required within 6 months of hire

• NIH Stroke Scale Certification – Required within 30 days

• CCRN Certification – Preferred (must obtain within 2 years)

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Work Environment:

• Night Shift with rotating weekends
