Job Description

• Hourly Rate: $27.72 – $39.60 (based on experience)

• Specialty Differential: +$2.50/hour

• Night Shift Differential: +$3/hour

• Weekend Differential: +$2/hour

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (Night Shift only; case-by-case)

Schedule:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Rotating Weekends Required

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) team. This role is designed for RNs who are passionate about providing high-level care to cardiac surgery patients in a critical care setting. You'll work independently and collaboratively to manage complex clinical cases in a fast-paced environment.   

• Deliver intensive post-operative care to cardiac surgery patients

• Perform detailed assessments and manage treatment plans autonomously

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care

• Educate patients and families about recovery, medications, and interventions

• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy protocols

• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience

• ICU or CSICU experience strongly preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active RN License in Florida (or Compact license with FL eligibility)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required within 6 months of hire

• NIHSS Stroke Certification – Required within 30 days of hire

• CCRN – Preferred (required within 2 years if not currently certified)

Education:

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Required)

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
