• Schedule: Days | Rotating Weekends
• Pay Range:
• $29.56/hr minimum
• $35.47/hr (5–6 years experience)
• Up to $40.65/hr (10+ years experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• Relocation Assistance: Available case-by-case
• Holiday Pay: Time and a half
• Night Differential (if applicable): $3.00/hr
Overview
We are hiring a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) to support advanced cardiac rhythm procedures in a high-acuity, acute care hospital setting in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
This role works directly with electrophysiologists during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, assisting with complex cardiac mapping, ablations, device implants, and arrhythmia management.
Responsibilities
• Prepare EP lab and specialized equipment for procedures.
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures.
• Operate recording systems, mapping systems, and imaging equipment.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient hemodynamic status.
• Maintain sterile field and procedural safety standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of procedures and patient data.
• Collaborate with cardiology, anesthesia, and nursing teams.
• Provide high-quality patient-centered care from adult to geriatric populations.
Required
• Associate Degree.
• 1 year of recent acute care EP Tech experience.
New graduates may be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
• One of the following credentials:
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), OR
• ARRT (R) with Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
Preferred
• Experience with 3D mapping systems (e.g., CARTO, EnSite).
• Experience assisting with device implants (pacemakers, ICDs).
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
