Job Description:
Develop and manage/strengthen investor and related stakeholder relationships (investment banks, equity analyst, media, etc.). This includes being able to effectively communicate and fulfill investor and related stakeholder needs and inquiries, and manage their expectations.
Drive and/or support capital markets preparation work including business analysis, due diligence preparation, corporate governance related matters, and capitalization table/shareholder list, etc.
Analyze strategically the investment opportunities in the travel industry in the Asia Pacific region. This includes being able to effectively and frequently communicate with business teams to learn their needs and conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis.
Create and update industry and company models, driving fundamental valuation signals based on synergy and long term valuation methodology.
Develop monthly/quarterly/annual company update narratives (through setting up routine interviewing sessions with company management). Draft and prepare presentation materials, Q&A, messaging contents etc…including board of directors materials preparation, any press releases etc.
Assist in structuring and negotiating investment transactions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to execute M&A transactions seamlessly.
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential opportunities or threats.
Be flexible to take on different projects as required related to capital markets.
Key Requirements:
2+ years of experience at an investment bank/investment fund or 2+ years of experience of investor relations, financial communications, or FP&A role. Experience in the Internet, e-commerce or travel industry is a plus.
Positive and respectful communication. Be a people person and good at developing relationships.
This person should be a great communicator, have experience leading/managing projects and results driven.
Fluent in Mandarin and English is a must. Business level Japanese is a plus.
Attention to detail and analyses, and intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables and powerpoint skills; familiar with Google office suite.
Entrepreneurial and ability to work in fast pace and dynamically changing environment.
