We have already transformed access to credit for thousands of small businesses in the Philippines, and we are now building a full-stack SME Neobank that will include multi-currency bank accounts, payments, FX, corporate credit cards, and payroll.

The Role

We are looking for a Capital Markets Associate to join our high-performing team. This role will sit at the intersection of capital markets, finance, legal structuring, and operations, creating value by building the infrastructure that underpins First Circle’s credit and investment platform.

You will work closely with senior leadership across Finance, Legal, and Product (particularly the Corporate Credit Cards product), supporting initiatives around debt and equity funding, funding structures, relationship building, business intelligence, investor reporting, and compliance frameworks. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role ideal for someone who wants to meaningfully contribute and grow within a high-growth fintech environment.

You will report to the VP Finance, Josh O’Donnell. Your role will require a significant amount of meetings with external parties and some travel across SEA to meet prospective investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and build a funnel of debt and equity investors
• Prepare clear, concise marketing materials to communicate with internal decision-makers and external counterparties.
• Negotiate term sheets and deal documents and execute the deal in record time
• Systematise investor reporting obligations to require minimal human execution
• Design and execute funding and cash management structures
• Provide input into Group financial planning, particularly as it relates to funding needs in different scenarios

Requirements:
• 3–5 years total experience, ideally with 2+ years in investment banking, debt capital markets, structured finance, private credit or an investment role.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; highly fluent in credit, leverage, and cash flow mechanics.
• Sharp commercial instincts and ability to navigate complex financial and legal topics.
• Excellent communicator - persuasive, composed, and relationship-oriented.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build processes from the ground up in a fast-growing fintech.
• Highly competent with excel and powerpoint. Eager to learn SQL for independent data analysis
