About the Client:
The Client is a specialist recruitment firm partnering with technology startups and scale-ups across New Zealand and the UK. We work with high-growth companies in aerospace, robotics, fintech, and agtech — helping them build exceptional teams during the most critical phases of their growth.

About the Role:
As Candidate Resourcer, you'll be the engine behind our talent pipeline — identifying, attracting, and engaging top candidates across a range of technical and specialist roles. You'll work closely with our consultants to understand client requirements and develop targeted sourcing strategies that find people others miss.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Source candidates proactively via LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards, and niche channels
• Write and post compelling job advertisements tailored to specialist audiences
• Screen CVs and conduct initial phone/video screens to assess suitability and interest
• Manage candidate pipelines within our ATS, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
• Build and maintain talent pools for recurring and anticipated vacancies
• Brief candidates on roles, culture, and client expectations
• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications throughout the process
• Support consultants with salary benchmarking and market mapping research
• Contribute to employer branding and outreach initiatives across LinkedIn and other platforms
• Assist with reference checks and pre-employment screening as required
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
• 1–3 years' experience in a recruitment, resourcing, or talent acquisition role
• Strong sourcing skills — comfortable crafting Boolean strings and using LinkedIn Recruiter
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
• A genuine curiosity about technology and the startup ecosystem
• Self-starter mentality with a drive to exceed targets
Desirable:
• Experience recruiting for technical roles (engineering, software, infrastructure)
• Familiarity with ATS platforms (experience with Rippling or similar a bonus)
• Knowledge of NZ or UK tech talent markets
• Understanding of aerospace, agtech, fintech, or robotics sectors
