Summary: The Candidate and Board Support Coordinator monitors the organization fundraising efforts throughout the year and work to draw in charitable donations. Support election process and support the Board Support Director.
Description:
• Manage Toastmasters International’s charitable fund, including the management and recognition of donations, the coordination of all-member fundraising drives, and the maintenance of a donor database.
• Research and confirm all fundraising activities are in compliance within the organization’s 501(c)(3) exempt status in the United States and follow laws and regulations outside the United States by developing a system that ensures tax deductibility of donations.
• Set fundraising targets and monitor progress on a quarterly basis; make recommendations for changes to meet goals if necessary.
• Track, audit, and report donations and prepare for annual review by the Board of Directors.
• Create and implement fundraising recognition programs such as a fellowship, annual giving, memorials, etc. to recognize donors and their donations at club and District events, and through the Toastmaster magazine and website. High-value contributors will be recognized at International Convention.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop materials to educate members and non-members about the Smedley Fund, including uses of the funds.
• Collaborate with other departments to recognize contributors through use of the Toastmasters International website, social media, the Toastmaster magazine, and any other online method that increases awareness of the Smedley Fund.
• Develop a program that will result in writing grants for foundations.
• Use in-depth understanding of the organizations governing documents to execute election/campaign presentations, reports, and notifications.
• Ensure the dissemination of information to the ILC, international candidates, and other organization leaders on the subject of election activities
• Support various elections-related committees and groups: ILC and international candidates
• Support various email boxes for the Board of Directors
• Support the Board Support Director on various tasks
Knowledge and Skills:
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously with various teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• In-depth understanding of organization’s structure
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• 3-5 years administrative/coordinator experience
Requirements:
• Intermediate to Advanced skills – Microsoft Office and Office 365
• Intermediate to Advanced skills – Adobe Acrobat Pro

Pay Range
$55,000—$60,000 USD
Compliance with all company policies, including but not limited to the company’s COVID-19 vaccination policy and testing and face-covering policy, is a condition of employment. You must be able to connect to a reliable internet service to perform all job duties when working from home. Work authorization is required, and sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
This is a hybrid role, with some days remote and some days on-site (typically 3 per week) in our office at 9127 S. Jamaica St., Englewood, CO 80112. When working in the office, we follow CDC guidelines.
