We’re recruiting two exceptional Campus Security Managers to lead high‑performing security teams across critical national sites. As a Campus Security Manager, you’ll bring a minimum of five years’ leadership experience and at least five years in operations to drive outstanding service, elevate security standards, and inspire people through strong, values‑based leadership. This Campus Security Manager role requires on‑site presence Monday to Friday, with responsiveness out of hours and regular travel from Hertfordshire through to Wales.

One position is London‑based, covering London and Slough, while the second is Slough‑based, covering Slough and Cardiff — with Slough as the primary location. You’ll bring fresh thinking to an already successful team, demonstrating excellent people skills, exceptional security‑operations knowledge, and the ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams.

With two vacancies available, we’re seeking individuals who are proactive, confident decision‑makers, committed to safety, skilled in stakeholder management, and comfortable operating across multiple locations. A car and valid driving licence are essential.

What you'll be doing:

• Manages physical security operations at multiple critical infrastructure facilities.
• Drives safety programming for the security team with a goal of zero workplace injuries onsite.
• Actively manages site security personnel; partners with the local branch to recruit and hire, oversee onboarding, training, and development at the sites.
• Ensures each staff member is treated with dignity and respect.
• Plans, assigns, and manages physical security projects and tasks to timely completion.
• Coaches security employees and carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with current policy.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of site security operations and provides recommendations for improvement.
• Utilises excellent customer service and communication skills, sets the example and holds site security staff accountable to do the same.
• Ensures site health and key performance indicator goals are met or exceeded; works with the regional security manager (RSM) to enhance security team effectiveness and performance.
• Meets regularly with the client and Securitas corporate management representatives for account reviews, addresses issues in a timely manner, and supports security planning, assessments, and surveys.
• Keeps management informed of major accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
• Follows standardised procedures to successfully complete unannounced audits.
• Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Splits time equally between sites, building familiarity with each location, leading the team, building the program, and coaching for success.
• Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• A valid UK driver’s licence.
• Minimum 4 years’ security experience + 5 years’ management experience.
• Capable of handling confidential information, using computers extensively, and meeting physical role demands.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, and incident management systems beneficial.
• Strong leadership: takes ownership, drives excellence, delivers results, and builds high‑performing teams.
• Supports people development: empowers others, gives/asks for feedback, and leads by example.
• Strategic mindset: drives innovation, seeks opportunities, collaborates effectively, and values diverse perspectives.
• Meets all licensing and security‑officer compliance requirements.
• Solid knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and 24/7 facility procedures.
• Skilled in staff supervision, scheduling, motivating teams, and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present and run meetings in person or online.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s and certifications (CPP/PSP) preferred.

Competencies:

• Must be able to meet and continue to meet licensing requirements for Security Officers, as applicable to local laws and regulation. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, sharing technical concepts to a varied audience. 
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet requirements for specific skills,  certifications or authorisations specified for the assigned accounts.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures applicable to a 24-hour facility.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Skill in staff supervision, including assigning work and providing training and discipline.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Ability to track and maintain scheduled assignments.
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances.
• Knowledge of business operations management and human resources administration.
• Demonstrates leadership skills, including planning, organising delegating, problem solving, training, coaching, and praising or disciplining staff in a positive manner.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required for preparing clear, concise, and grammatically correct materials and communicating information effectively to others.
• Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
• Able to conduct presentations and facilitate group meetings, both in person and online.
• Ability to adapt to change in the external environment and organisation.
• Ability to multi-task and complete assignments concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Required ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Computer usage, which may include prolonged periods of data analysis.
• Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
