Tri-City Electric Co. is currently seeking a Campus Safety Lead for an opening in Port Washington, WI. This role oversees and drive project-level safety performance across a large-scale construction campus. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving health and safety programs, while leading jobsite safety teams and ensuring alignment with company, client, and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of project safety programs
Oversee and support jobsite safety representatives across the campus
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture among all personnel
Conduct and review incident investigations; implement corrective actions
Lead safety training, orientations, and ongoing education initiatives
Perform jobsite inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
Stop work when unsafe conditions or behaviors are identified
Collaborate with project leadership, general contractors, and owners on safety expectations
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent incidents
Ensure all contractors adhere to jobsite safety policies and procedures
Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
Approximately 7 years of construction safety experience
Current First Aid/CPR certification
One or more of the following safety certifications:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
Candidates must possess strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to identify hazards, enforce safety standards, and solve problems in a fast-paced construction environment. They must be self-motivated, organized, able to communicate effectively with field personnel, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
