We are searching for Campus Leaders for the 2026/2027 school year.
About the Role:
As a Friendlier Campus Leader, you will act as a student ambassador and community builder for the Friendlier reusable packaging program at your school. You will help educate students, raise awareness, and drive participation in the program through creative engagement initiatives, social content, events, and on-campus outreach.
This is an ideal opportunity for students interested in sustainability, marketing, sales, communications, community engagement, or leadership development.
Key Objectives
Drive awareness and engagement of the Friendlier reusable packaging program on campus
Support increased adoption and return rates of reusable containers
Help create a positive and visible sustainability culture within the student community
Gather insights and experiment with ways to improve program participation
What You’ll Do
Campus Leaders contribute through a flexible 2–3 hour weekly commitment, including:
Student Engagement & Awareness
Conduct on-campus booth activations approximately once per month
Educate students about the Friendlier reusable packaging program and how it works
Promote the environmental impact of reducing single-use waste
Program Optimization
Test and suggest ideas to improve program engagement and return rates
Support experiments related to signage, return bin placement, awareness tactics, and other engagement strategies
Social Media & Content Creation
Create regular social media content featuring Friendlier products and reuse habits in daily campus life
Help amplify sustainability messaging through student-focused channels
Events & Community Building
Host or support one campus event per semester related to sustainability, reuse, or student engagement
Collaborate with student groups and campus organizations where applicable
Team Collaboration
Participate in regular check-in calls with the Friendlier team and other campus leaders
Share feedback, student insights, and campus trends
What Success Looks Like
Increased student awareness and participation in the Friendlier program
Improvement in number of returned Friendlier products by 5-10% year-over-year
Strong visibility and engagement through campus activations and social content
Positive student feedback and program satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
Current post-secondary student
Passion for sustainability and environmental impact
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable engaging with students in-person and online
Self-starter who enjoys trying new ideas and building community
Experience with social media content creation is an asset
Leadership experience in clubs, student groups, athletics, or volunteer organizations is an asset
