Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Calypso Developer to design, implement, and support Calypso-based trading and risk management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Calypso architecture, APIs, and Java development, along with a solid understanding of front-to-back trade flows across multiple asset classes.
This role involves close collaboration with business, risk, and IT teams to deliver efficient and compliant solutions for trading and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
• 7–10 years of experience in Calypso system implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end Calypso implementation, including risk management (ERS), limits, and VaR setup.
• Exposure to multiple asset classes – Fixed Income, Money Market, FX, Interest Rate, and Credit Derivatives.
• Experience integrating Calypso with external systems such as Bloomberg SAPI, Reuters, TOMS, and Deal Tracker.
Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and API integration (v15.2 or higher).
• Expertise in Java (1.7 or higher) – OOPs, Collections, and Multithreading.
• Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and Calypso data model.
• Familiarity with JBoss, Gradle, and Open API integration patterns.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Functional Skills
• Good understanding of Front-to-Back trade workflows in Calypso.
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income, FX, Interest Rate, and Credit Derivatives.
• Experience with Credit and Market Risk configuration, including ERS Limits and VaR setup.
• Understanding of P&L, accounting setup, curves, and market data configuration.
• Knowledge of Back Office operations – static data, transfers, settlements, and position configuration.
