As a Calibration Technician with MSI-Viking, you will be responsible for performing precise and reliable calibrations in accordance with established quality standards and procedures. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of precision measurement equipment across a wide range of disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform calibrations across multiple disciplines, including temperature, pressure, electrical, torque, force, and dimensional measurements
• Maintain all standards and equipment in proper working conditions and within calibration requirements
• Complete and maintain accurate calibration documentation, including data sheets and certificates of calibration
• Interact internally and externally to answer calibration-related questions
· General familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO/IEC17025 Quality Systems
• Maintain organized workspaces, tools, and equipment while adhering to housekeeping standards
• Ensure all required materials are available prior to service, including calibration standards, documentation, labels, and any customer-specific requirements.
• Always deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a strong work ethic
Requirements:
• Knowledge of precision measurement equipment, calibration systems, and calibration software
• Understanding of measurement principles and calibration management program
• Proficiency with gauge management software
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
· Self-starter, proactive, productive, and eager to learn, with the ability to work independently
• Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail, integrity, and initiative
• Basic mathematics understanding
Preferred:
• Two years’ related experience
• Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL), (GCAMS/ACTS), or (MOS 94H)
