Position Overview
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking experienced CAD Technician to join our team in Poland. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects across Europe. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD and integration of geospatial data such as laser scan & total station outputs.
This role offers a dynamic mix of responsibilities, with approximately 50% office-based work and 50% site-based work, depending on project requirements. Remote work is not typically required, and occasional weekend work may occur during site activities. International travel may also be necessary based on project needs.
What You Will Do:
Supporting the Senior CAD Technicians and Project Managers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality (Geospatial Certainty)
Understanding and promoting the importance and complies with the company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management system.
Following established standard practices and workflows, naming conventions / document control etc.
Working with scales and tolerances.
Preparing detailed 2D drawings and technical documentation based on project requirements.
Reading and interpreting construction and surveying documentation to ensure accuracy of deliverables.
Using AutoCAD and Civil 3D on a daily basis; experience with MicroStation is considered an advantage.
Collaborating with survey teams and supporting workflows that involve geospatial data such as laser scans and total station outputs.
Assisting with onsite scanning when required, using equipment such as Leica, Spectra and Trimble.
Ensuring consistent application of CAD standards, naming conventions and quality procedures across all deliverables.
Coordinating with project teams to integrate data from different sources and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Will Bring:
A relevant qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, or Engineering, and at least 2 years’ experience working with AutoCAD in the construction, architectural, civil, landscape, or surveying sector
Solid understanding of surveying and geospatial engineering principles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Valid EU Manual Drivers Licence
Right to work in Poland.
