Assisting senior and intermediate staff with engineering design on a variety of transportation

projects.

 Preparing AutoCAD drawings and item quantity calculations used for tender and Construction.

Quality control according to engineering specifications and client requirements under the

direction and supervision of a senior designer or engineer.

Responsible for drafting quality control and interface with other disciplines.

 Responsible for keeping up with industry updates and current software, as well as internal

processes.

 Preparing highway designs for various types of facilities using current design software.

Providing design support on transportation projects and becoming familiarized with client

Standards.

Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborating with design teams within other operating locations in Ontario.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive consulting experience completing linear transportation

projects

Ability to read and understand survey plans and drawings.

Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software would be considered a strong asset.  Demonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination.

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.

Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
