Job Description

Your tasks:
• You take technical responsibility for the CAD-based design and integration of thermal systems and components (e.g., HVAC components, air ducts, coolant lines)
• You create, optimize, and maintain CAD models of the thermal system in Catia V5 and integrate them into the overall vehicle model, considering packaging, weight, and assembly-friendliness
• You conduct concept studies and packaging analyses for thermal components in coordination with related departments
• You derive standard-compliant technical drawings from 3D models
• You create and maintain bills of materials and document CAD models in Windchill
• You oversee cross-departmental change management
• You coordinate and align CAD-related topics with engineering service providers and suppliers
• You document your work results and derive actionable recommendations

Your profile:
• You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable technical field
• You have several years of experience in design, ideally in the automotive, commercial vehicle, or a related industry
• You are an expert in Catia V5, especially DMU, Part Design, Shape Design, Kinematics, and Drafting
• You have experience with Windchill and ideally JIRA
• You work in a structured, independent, and conceptual manner
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy teamwork
• You are fluent in German and English
