Job Description

Compensation: $25-33/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter with experience in residential structural and architectural drafting. The ideal candidate will create accurate technical drawings and plans for single-family homes, townhomes, and other residential structures. This role requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of residential construction methods, structural components, and architectural detailing.

Responsibilities:
• Create and revise 2D AutoCAD drawings for residential architectural and structural plans for houses and homes.
• Translate architectural sketches, redlines, and engineering concepts into clear technical drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Incorporate structural elements such as beams, joists, columns, trusses, and load-bearing walls into plans.
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, zoning requirements, and residential construction standards.
• Update drawings based on design revisions and field feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation.
• Assist with permit sets and construction documentation.

Requirements:
• 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience, preferably in residential construction.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
• Experience drafting residential structural and architectural plans.
