Cable Technician

Responsive Technology Partners is seeking an experienced full-time low voltage cable installation technician for our Tampa, Florida office. We are looking for someone with low voltage experience including but not limited to cat5e/cat6 hauling including EMT and conduit works, cable/patch panel terminations and testing, coaxial terminations, CCTV, access control, and audio visual experience. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of TCP/IP and the ability to read construction plans. Fiber optic termination and low voltage license is a major plus. Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and consideration for safety is a must.

Cabling position requirements are: 

Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, and have a professional demeanor

Must have proven skill level or the ability to learn to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting, and quality requirements

Must be able to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds 

Must be able to see and distinguish different colors and read small print 

Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed 

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license 

Must pass a background check and drug test

Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners
