Position Title: TCC Technician
Reports to: TCC Supervisor
Position Description:
The TCC Technician is responsible for loading and unloading equipment and materials, Inspection, repair and storage of customer cable, tubing, and connectors and ensure all safety processes are followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Repair customer’s cable’s that are received
Assist with the shipping and receiving of customers’ cables
Conduct inspection on all incoming materials and cables
Assembles cables
Uses and wears safety and/or protective equipment, as appropriate
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect all employees, equipment, materials, and facilities
Reports all accidents and/or potential hazards to the Maintenance manager immediately, or as soon as reasonably possible
Operate heavy equipment forklift in a safe manner.
Work with high voltage equipment in a safe manner.
Inspect, repair and pressure test tubing.
To maintain all equipment in safe operational condition
Complies with and supports Taurus policies
Supervision Responsibilities:
None
Organizational Responsibilities:
Receive directions from TCC Supervisor
Interact with other team members
Responds to requests for status updates on cable repairs
Qualification Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Able to operate a heavy equipment forklift with an overhead load in a safe manner.
Able to perform high voltage test on cable in a safe manner
Proficient reading, writing, math, and mechanical reasoning skills.
Ability to manage time efficiently
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
Ability to excel in a self-directed work setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with safety processes and regulations
OSHA experience
Ability to operate a forklift
Preferred Education and Experience:
Previous Cable maintenance experience
OSHA experience
Experience with general forklift maintenance
Travel:
No regular travel is expected.
Computer Skills:
Basic skills required.
Safety and Housekeeping:
Adhere to the company’s safety and housekeeping standards and procedures.
Continuously required to stand
Regularly required to sit and walk
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
