Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency? Do you have experience with precise measurements and operating machinery? We're looking for a dedicated Cable Cutting Technician to join our team at $15.00/hour. In this role, you'll be essential in preparing the vital cable components for our high-quality antennas, ensuring every piece meets our exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and Cut Cables: Accurately measure and cut various types of cables to antenna specifications using manual tools or automated cutting machines.
Operate Equipment: Set up and operate cable cutting machines, strippers, crimpers, and other related equipment safely and efficiently.
Read Work Orders: Carefully read and interpret work orders to determine required cable types, lengths, and quantities.
Quality Control: Inspect finished cables for defects, accuracy in length, and compliance with technical standards. You'll be responsible for reporting or correcting any deviations to maintain our high-quality benchmarks.
Soldering: Perform basic soldering tasks to connect cable components as needed, ensuring strong and reliable connections.
Material Handling: Load and unload cable reels and maintain an organized inventory of cable materials on the production floor.
Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on machines and your work area to ensure optimal performance and a safe environment.
Requirement & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially with cable cutting or similar machinery, is a plus.
Basic soldering skills or a willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to read and understand work orders and basic technical specifications.
Good manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer skills for data entry, if required.
Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Hourly Rate: $15
