Cabinetmaker / Apprentice Cabinetmaker – Commercial Millwork

We’re looking for a Cabinetmaker who’s ready to take on exciting commercial millwork projects in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
This full-time position is based in our SE Calgary production shop and reports to the Plant Foreman. If you’re looking develop your career, this is a chance to build high-quality custom pieces that make an impact.
What You’ll Do:
Craft Custom Millwork:
Cut, shape, and form wood parts using hand tools and woodworking machines
Assemble, trim, and finish high-quality custom cabinetry and millwork
Sand surfaces, apply veneers, polish, and prepare laminates
Ensure joints are tight, parts are reinforced, and everything fits just right
Focus on Precision & Quality:
Inspect materials and parts for scratches, defects, or damage
Label finished products accurately for shipping and installation
Use quality assurance tools to keep cuts within tolerance and make fine adjustments
Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
Stay Safe & Efficient:
Follow safe work procedures and company safety policies
Operate and maintain equipment like sliding table saws, wide belt sanders, shapers, and compound mitre saws
Work closely with your team to hit production targets without cutting corners
What You’ll Bring:
Cabinetmaker Certificate or actively working toward certification
3–5 years of experience in a millwork shop (commercial experience is a bonus!)
Skilled with power tools, woodworking machinery, and hand tools
Ability to read shop drawings and create accurate cut lists
Knowledge of wood species, materials, and construction methods
Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency to get the job done right
A passion for quality, detail, and teamwork
