Company Overview:

We are a dynamic company specializing in custom cabinetry, seeking a skilled Cabinet Design Engineer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing cabinets using Cabinet Vision and 20/20 software or equivalent, creating professional 2D and 3D renderings, and engineering designs for production on CNC machines.

Job Summary:

Design Cabinets: Utilize Cabinet Vision and 20/20 software to design custom cabinets, ensuring precision and aesthetic appeal.

Create Drawings: Produce high-quality 2D and 3D drawings for both internal and customer presentations.

Engineering and Production: Engineer designs to optimize production efficiency and generate files for CNC machines.

Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless execution of designs.

Responsibilities:

Design custom cabinets using Cabinet Vision and 20/20 software.

Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for production and customer presentations.

Engineer designs to ensure compatibility with CNC machines.

Collaborate with the production team to resolve any design or production issues.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design software and industry trends.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in cabinet design using Cabinet Vision and 20/20 software, or 2 years experience using Mozaik, Microvellum, AutoCad, Autodesk Fusion, or SketchUp Pro..

Skills: Room layout: Walls, openings, dimensions, and clearances. Changing width/height/depth, construction method, and options from a library. Outputs to the shop, such as cutlists, door lists, reports, nesting/CNC output. Creating professional presentations in 2D and 3D renderings, along with a strong understanding of CNC machine operations.

Education: Working toward a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, design).

Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
