Duties & Role:
• Provide support for project implementation, and delivery of infrastructure security solutions
• Ensure the stability and performance of deployed systems, services and applications post-implementation, through continuous monitoring and addressing any emerging issues in a timely manner.
• Apply approved security configurations (hardening settings), and continuously maintain the security posture of the infrastructure elements
• Contribute to remediation of CIS security findings for infrastructure elements
• Plan, deploy, and configure a variety of hardware, software, and security products;
• Perform other duties as may be required
• Some work outside of normal office hours may be required
• Up to 50 TDY within Belgium per year
Requirements:
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Knowledge of the principles of computer and communication security, networking, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications.
• Knowledge of and proven experience with Linux OS, infrastructure as code and automation tools
• Knowledge of security technologies and solutions specific to hybrid-cloud, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and On-Premise DMZ capabilities
• Experience with Cyber Hygiene and the Critical Security Controls for effective cyber defence.
• Practical hands-on experience with systems administration.
• Ability to investigate and analyse complex scenarios and solve problems in innovative ways
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and successfully articulate complex issues to a variety of audiences and teams
