Required Security Clearance: NATO SECRET
Duties & Role:
Under the supervision of NCIA EW&S lead the contractor will perform the following tasks:
• Management of EW&S projects through monitoring and reporting;
• Support meetings of multidisciplinary teams and technical and operational stakeholders;
• Participate in technical and operational meetings, providing secretarial services;
• Manage internal resources,
• Support the preparation of periodic project management reports;
• Support deployment of EW&S systems and prototypes into military trials and exercises including being at the trial/exercise site during execution.
• Provide meaningful input to the areal lead for managing EW&S projects.
Specific Working Conditions: Travel can be expected to The Hague (approx. 1 quarterly meeting / 3 days visit) and to other sites, as needed, in relation to project deliverables. Travel cost will be covered by the project (NCIA). The intention is to extend in 2027.
Requirements:
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Must demonstrate expert knowledge of project management principles and practices;
• Must demonstrated expert level knowledge of PRINCE 2 or similar management framework.
• Must have experience in using enterprise management system and enterprise resource planning systems;
• Must have experience with the NATO procurement process.
• Must have experience of deployment of NATO equipment to NATO trials and exercises.
• Nationally recognized/certified university qualification on management/ economics;
• Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 3 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
• Must have excellent spoken and written English communication and presentation skills, as demonstrated by recent experience (within the past 5 years);
• Must demonstrate the ability and self-motivation to work on his/her own but must also work well within groups as part of a team;
• Must demonstrate an ability and keen sense for problem-solving;
