Position Overview
The Buying Coordinator will help execute seasonal strategies of the Buying Team and understand inventory investments to effectively achieve department and company goals. They will do this by supporting the Buying Team on day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This includes responsibility for PO creation, product creation, data entry, market preparation and maintenance of visual representation of seasonal collections. The Buying Coordinator will work closely with the Buying Team, cross functionally with other departments and work alongside the Sample Coordinator to support the Buying Team.
Core Responsibilities
Buying
Manage order entry and product creation into the ERP system, with a focus on deadlines and accuracy
Responsible for daily updates, revisions, and maintenance pertaining to all purchase orders and products, manage and own process
Update report (Buys By Category) with stock month/stock week/cancellations/shifts through daily vendor shipment updates as well as post Receiving Recap & Planning meetings
Assist the team on day to day activities and learn “on the job” by contributing to reporting, analytics, presentations and meeting preparation
Prepare seasonal recaps of product performance by brand and category prior to strategy and market periods
Assist in market note entry process during buying seasons, promptly and accurately
Occasional market appointment attendance and support
Take current roles and responsibilities and work to make processes more streamlined by being proactive, taking initiative and being a strong problem solver to improve overall team efficiency and performance
Bulk Procurement
Work to improve all processes leading up to shipment receipt date
Enter and manage UPC entry in a timely manner previous to receipt dates
Assist in communication & handoff of information to Logistics Associate
Troubleshoot as needed to resolve outstanding issues related to Order Entry with the Buying Team and support with bulk procurement tasks as needed.
Learn sample coordination process alongside Sample Coordinator for as needed support
Minimum Qualifications
At least 1+ years of related experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Proficient in Excel and ability to learn new software platforms quickly
Interest in data analytics to drive decisions

Outstanding communication skills with a team player attitude

Compensation
Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $58,000-$62,500; classified as full-time exempt and not eligible for overtime.
