Role Summary and Impact

The Buying Analyst will hold a strategic position within the team responsible for a large client.

The individual will be responsible for managing and implementing buying strategies to propose to the client, thereby overseeing monitoring, reporting, and drafting future negotiation strategies. They will work closely with the planning team and will also play an operational coordination role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analyses of the client's media investments at all stages (present during planning, future with respect to results analysis and future strategic vision), transforming data into strategic and actionable insights.

• Effectively present results and negotiation strategies to clients and stakeholders, developing clear and impactful narratives for effective negotiation management.

• Develop and implement innovative negotiation strategies, in full alignment with the agency's objectives and the client's strategic goals.

• Present and articulate negotiation strategies, acting as an internal point of reference for collecting and disseminating the agency's buying insights, and collaborating with the strategic Activation & Buying manager.

• Proactively monitor market trends and relevant data to conceive and implement anticipatory negotiation strategies.

• Constantly review and monitor purchasing conditions and campaign results, actively proposing optimizations and improvements.

• Collaborate synergistically with internal teams (Investment, Buying, Accountability, MMDM) to ensure strategic consistency and operational effectiveness.

• Maintain constant updates on industry developments and international best practices in media negotiation and purchasing.

• Interface with the planning team constantly to monitor, guide, and coordinate operations stemming from on-air campaigns to support future analyses.

Requirements

• Proven experience of at least 7 years in the media sector, with a distinctive specialization in buying, investment analysis, and offline planning.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for complex data analysis and the creation of strategic presentations.

• High precision and attention to detail, coupled with a strong results-oriented approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and cultivate solid relationships with various types of stakeholders.

• Solid organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to effectively manage and coordinate multiple parallel projects.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
