The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buying Admin Assistant to join our dynamic Product Team. Reporting to the Buying Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Buyers to curate an unbeatable collection for our customers. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone with a passion for fashion and a desire to build a career in buying.
Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with raising purchase orders and performing data entry tasks.
Conducting trend and competitor research to support the Product Team.
Compiling and maintaining sales reports.
Communicating with and building strong relationships with our suppliers.
Collating data related to ethical sourcing and sustainability.
Supporting the Buyers with general administrative tasks as required.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
A detailed understanding of the Universal Store customer and our product offering.
A strong awareness of current market trends.
Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
A high level of attention to detail and a drive for achievement.
While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:

Tertiary qualifications in Buying, Fashion, or Business.
A technical understanding of garment construction and textiles.
