Buyer (wholesale) (m/f/d)

As the buying team, we take care of the purchasing of all products and the regular expansion of the ABOUT YOU brand portfolio. We are always on the lookout for exciting, new and timeless fashion and lifestyle trends from all over the world. To this end, we define seasonal product range strategies and draw up seasonal and financial plans. We manage all purchasing budgets ourselves and also analyze and evaluate KPIs. A good relationship with our suppliers is important to us, which is why we take care to maintain good relationships and contact with our partners. As a Buyer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for purchasing wholesale brands and keep a constant eye on the relevant KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Independent purchasing of wholesale brands in compliance with the planned purchasing budget and taking into account all relevant KPIs
• Purchasing planning in coordination with the Head of Buying / Teamlead Buying 
• Development, optimization and support of the product range
• Conducting and participating in condition discussions with suppliers
• Competition and market monitoring
• Regular and proactive coordination with Merchandise Planning 

Requirements

• Completed studies in economics or textile economics
• At least two years of professional experience in independent buying of external brands
• Strong analytical thinking and numerical skills
• Strong communication skills, negotiating skills and assertiveness
• Structured way of working and reliability
• Strong sense of trends and understanding of fashion
• Hands-on mentality
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
